Does Hare Wynn accept referred cases?

Yes.  Hare Wynn’s office is in Birmingham, but Hare Wynn regularly accepts referrals from lawyers throughout Alabama and across the United States.  Hare Wynn has the experience, expertise, and resources necessary to handle complex cases that may take years to resolve.

Does Hare Wynn share fees with referring lawyers?

Yes.  Since 2012, referring lawyers have received nearly $150 million in referral fees from cases referred to Hare Wynn.  Hare Wynn will negotiate referral fees on an individual basis and in accordance with Alabama Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5.  If you are a lawyer in Alabama or elsewhere in the United States, we would be glad to associate with you as a referring lawyer.

What types of referred cases does Hare Wynn accept?

In recent years, most of the referred single event cases that Hare Wynn has handled involve medical malpractice – a subject matter that requires access to medical experts, familiarity with the defenses that hospitals, doctors, and nurses commonly assert in defending these actions, and experience trying these oftentimes complex and challenging cases.  Hare Wynn has handled hundreds of medical malpractice cases, with many of those cases having been referred by other lawyers.  Hare Wynn has earned a reputation as one of the top Alabama medical malpractice referral law firms.

Most of the medical malpractice cases that Hare Wynn accepts as referrals are filed in Alabama, though the plaintiff may live in another state.  Hare Wynn is in Birmingham, but Hare Wynn lawyers routinely accept referred medical malpractice cases across Alabama, from Huntsville to Mobile.
