Personal Experience
For over 15 years, Justin has been an unrelenting advocate for individuals facing the darkest chapters of their lives. A daughter with pneumonia left to suffocate on a jail floor. A father whose arms were severed by defective coal mining equipment. A son tragically lost in an oil pit explosion. Transforming personal tragedies into catalysts for powerful change, each of their stories has fueled a deeper commitment to fight for those who could not fight for themselves.
With an unwavering dedication to justice, Justin has successfully prosecuted wrongful death and personal injury claims across the legal spectrum, including medical malpractice, product liability, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, and environmental torts. His steadfast commitment to those in need, has led to the recovery of many millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts, providing solace and support to numerous families. Each case isn’t a mere legal challenge. It’s a story of hope and resilience. A reckoning. An opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Education and Personal Life
The foundation of his legal career—his life, actually—was built at Cumberland Law School. There, Justin excelled as the Articles Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow, and a member of the Herbert W. Peterson National Trial Team. He was recognized as the “Best Advocate” of his graduating class by the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Above all else, though, Justin met Megan at Cumberland. She was his Trial Team partner, eventually became his wife, and gave him two handsome, precocious boys. They all live happily together in the heart of Homewood, AL.
